An experienced realtor is truly your key asset when tackling a real estate transaction. It is important that you have an experienced, professional, and successful agent working for you when buying or selling one of the largest investments of your lifetime. I am recognized by clients and co-workers as someone with the ability to make the often confusing and emotional job of buying and selling property, calm and enjoyable. My professionalism comes from my commitment to real estate and education. Possessing a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology, coupled with a Certificate in Urban Studies and Planning from Portland State University, I hold the important tools necessary to work with people and have a true understanding of Oregon's complex land-use laws.
So, whether you are buying for the first time, or the fifth time, I am committed to conducting your real estate transaction with the utmost care, respect, and your long term satisfaction first in mind.
I was born and raised in Roswell, New Mexico until my father's work moved to Hillsboro, a prospering suburb outside of Portland, Oregon in the early 80's. Has Hillsboro ever grown! It is now one of the most desirable places to live in the Portland Metro area due to job opportunities and peaceful livability. I have lived both in the neighborhoods of Hillsboro and in the surrounding rural areas. I currently live in the country just north of Hillsboro with my wife Teri, my daughter Lily, and son Clayton.
I graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1988 and proceeded to graduate from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and a Certificate in Urban Studies and Planning.

Hobbies and Travel
With 40 acres of land in Helvetia where our home is at, I enjoy the outdoors, working in the garden, hiking our private trails and all the unique aspects of rural living. I also own/manage our family Hazelnut orchard with 35 acres of Jefferson Hazelnut trees providing a "real" farm experience for me, my children and my parents. Spending time with my wife, Teri, two children Lily and Clay and Cocoa our beloved Labradoodle is very important to me. We love to go on family river adventures while kayaking, paddle boarding, or rafting near our vacation home in Sunriver. I also love to cook, ski, and take road trips to visit my daughter at college in Southern California.
