Conrad grew up in the Billings, Montana area on a 100-acre farm. His upbringing was surrounded by hard satisfying work in farming certain cash crops such as sugar beets, pinto beans, and corn to name a few. From a young age, he was involved in 4-H and all aspects farming, feeding and raising cattle, and learning the detailed work of maintaining and fixing all the farm machinery. His upbringing and work ethic taught him the value and satisfaction of hard work. He purchased and operated his own 1200-acre farm and ranch for fifteen years. During this time he built his own home on his farm/ranch from the foundation up.
By 1995, his former wife and his three sons decided to make the move to Oregon City, Oregon. He started a new profession here in Oregon in upscale furniture sales that complimented his upholstery side-job experience in Montana. He quickly advanced as the top seller and soon after moved directly into the sales management arena for over eight years. He operated over 100,000 dollars in annual sales and increased sales by 10%. With his background and versatile experience, he was privileged to also expand into the design of contemporary leather furniture directly with the manufacturer in Foshan City, China for six years. He frequently traveled to China to the manufacturing facility to ensure the quality standards of furniture designs that were built.
A few years ago, Conrad transitioned what was just a hobby of construction during his past, into becoming a fully licensed and bonded Oregon Construction Contractor. He has been involved in numerous remodeling and renovation projects in various commercial buildings and historic homes. Also, he has been intimately involved in the finishing/detailing work of over 50 newly constructed residential homes.
As a Realtor®, he provides a deeper understanding and knowledge of all types of real estate--let it be new or older homes to farm land. Currently, Conrad lives in Oregon City, Oregon on a 3-acre timber farm with his current wife Marika. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his five granddaughters; antique shopping; buying, selling and repairing clocks.
