Betty was born in Germany on a barge on the Danube River and speaks, reads and writes German. Her last name - Jung is prounounced Young and means "young " in German.

Moving to Oregon in 1975, she immediately started selling real estate in November of that year. She's been a long-time resident of Lake Oswego since 1988. She has two grandchildren and in addition to spending time with them, loves to travel, garden (especially growing roses), catching all the latest movies, music and concerts in the park.

Betty has a love for the beach and goes to Oregon's Coast as often as she can on days off. Daily walking is an activity she doesn't like to miss. Theatre , art walks & gallery tours, kyaking, rafting, cross-country skiing, hiking, bicycling and dancing are all activities she enjoys.

Antiques, collectibles, children's authors and illustrators are subjects she's very knowledgeable about. She is an avid collector of McCoy pottery. Baking and making jams & liquors are her specialties that she shares with clients and friends each year at Christmas.
